Share

The Community Development Council, the county’s largest anti-poverty agency, will hold its final public forum at Rancho Santiago College at 6:30 p.m. June 24 to disclose its “Local Plan” draft for 1988.

Earlier, the council held public forums in San Clemente, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach and Anaheim to seek public participation for next year’s plan. The plan will detail how the council will spend $1 million allocated by the state Department of Economic Development to help the poor in Orange County.

Persons wishing to review the draft before the public forum, which will be held in Room 213 of the college, may pick up a copy at the council’s headquarters, 1440 East 1st St. in Santa Ana.
