Huntington Beach : Briefings Scheduled on Beach Blvd. Project

Citizens interested in learning more about the Beach Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area are invited by the city to attend informational meetings during the next several days.
A decision on whether to designate as a redevelopment area a five-mile stretch of state Highway 39 between Pacific Coast Highway and the San Diego Freeway is expected July 6 at a joint hearing of the City Council and Planning Commission.
Meetings will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 23, and July 1 at the Newland House Barn on Beach Boulevard near Utica Street.
