Jurors in the attempted murder trial in New York of subway gunman Bernhard H. Goetz deliberated his fate for a third day, asking for one victim’s bullet-torn jacket and three screwdrivers two youths were carrying. The evidence requested by the eight-man, four-woman panel indicated they were considering charges related to the shooting of Darrell Cabey, the most seriously injured of the four youths involved. The requested jacket is one Cabey was wearing at the time of the Dec. 22, 1984, shooting.
