5 Killed, 3 Hurt in Florida as Truck Collides With Car

FROSTPROOF, Fla. — Five people, including two children, were killed Tuesday and three others were injured when a pickup truck and a car collided in Polk County, a Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said. The truck was traveling north on U.S. 27 when the car pulled onto the highway and was struck on the right side, the spokesman said.
