Micheal Ray Richardson, former New Jersey Net guard who was banned from the NBA in 1986 for violating its drug policy, signed with the Jersey Jammers of the United States Basketball League. He was recently released by the Long Island Knights, who stressed that the release did not result from a failure to pass drug tests.
