Huntington Park : School Arson Investigated

The investigation into the recent fire that caused $200,000 damage at Huntington Park High School is continuing, Los Angeles County Fire Department arson investigator Harry Thy said. The blaze caused extensive structural damage to the school cafeteria.
The fire was set during the early morning hours of June 6.
According to the Fire Department report, trash piled near one of the cafeteria walls was ignited by the arsonist. Firefighters battled the blaze for more than an hour before controlling it.
