Thatcher Will Visit Washington in July

LONDON —
British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher will meet with President Reagan next month in Washington, the government announced Wednesday.
Thatcher and Reagan will discuss East-West relations and possibly arms control at their meeting July 17, a spokeswoman said.
She said Reagan invited Thatcher to visit the White House at the Venice economic summit June 8-9 before Thatcher’s landslide election victory June 11 made her the first 20th century British leader to win three straight terms.
