Overtime Goal Gives Dallas Title

TACOMA, Wash. —
Mark Karpun scored with 9:23 gone in overtime Saturday night as the Dallas Sidekicks overcame a Tacoma lead for a 4-3 victory and the Major Indoor Soccer League title before a crowd of 21,728.
The Sidekicks, who trailed, 3-1, with 2 1/2 minutes left in regulation, won when Karpun scored from 18 yards out on an assist from league MVP Tatu.
Dallas took the best-of-seven series, 4 games to 3.
