Braves Sign Urman

Mike Urman, a catcher at Canoga Park High in 1987, signed Saturday with the Atlanta Braves and will report to the team’s rookie league affiliate next week in Bradenton, Fla.

Urman, who was selected in the second round in this month’s amateur draft, led Canoga Park to the City Section 4-A championship.
