Surplus Cheese, Rice to Be Distributed

The Culver City Division of Community and Social Services will distribute surplus cheese and rice to low-income residents 60 years of age older from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Culver City Armory, 10808 Culver Blvd.

Recipients must first register in the lobby of the Veterans’ Memorial Building, 4117 Overland Ave., Culver City.

To qualify for the program, residents must be 60 years old and meet the following income guidelines: one person, $670 maximum monthly income; family of two, $905 maximum monthly income; family of three, $1,104 maximum monthly income; and family of four or more, $1,375 maximum monthly income.

Cheese and rice distribution for unemployed and low-income people younger than 60 years of age will be June 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Community Service Desk, 11525 Washington Blvd., Los Angeles.
