John Matuszak, former Raider defensive lineman, was sentenced to five days in Los Angeles County jail after he admitted to punching a man and attempting to rip the door off his car after a traffic accident Feb. 27.

Matuszak pleaded guilty to one count of battery and one count of malicious mischief. He was also assessed $570 in fines and penalties by Hollywood Municipal Court Judge Harold Crowder.

Matuszak also was put on two years’ summary probation and told to complete 200 hours of community service work.
