The Region : 2 Gang Members Convicted in Rape
Two gang members were convicted of the brutal rape of a 26-year-old woman whose hand, foot and breast had to be amputated after the suspects threw her in a dumpster and tossed a burning Christmas tree on her. Cedric Harmon, 18, was found guilty by a Los Angeles Superior Court jury of one count of attempted murder, three counts of rape, three counts of mayhem, two counts of oral copulation, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of kidnaping. Co-defendant Mark A. Green, also 18, was convicted of three counts of rape, two counts of oral copulation and one each of misdemeanor battery and felony assault. He was acquitted of three counts of mayhem and one count of attempted murder.
