Libyans Seized in Rome Slaying

ROME —
Two Libyans shot and killed an Arab in the Prati residential district today in what police said appeared to be a resurgence of Libyan leader Col. Moammar Kadafi’s vendetta against exiled opponents of his regime.
Two off-duty policemen intercepted the getaway car in rush-hour traffic near the shooting and held the two occupants until reinforcements arrived and arrested them. Police said an Algerian passport found on the dead man was probably a fake and that the dead man may be a Libyan.
