Baseball Should Say ‘No!’ to LaMarr Hoyt
It seems outrageous that LaMarr Hoyt should be put back on the Padre payroll after his drug experiences. What sort of “arbitration” is that? I hope Joan Kroc will pursue this through the courts.
We are trying to get the youngsters to say “No!” to drugs, and this man, who should be an example and hero to them, is let off with a slap to the wrist.
He should be ashamed of himself, and professional baseball has already been shamed by this award.
