Other Activities Suffer Just as Much

“Sports vs. Gangs” is very scary and depressing reading. Do you think that by running this in the sports section more attention will be paid to the problem?

Whole generations of young people are being destroyed by drugs and gangs. Other high school activities must suffer as much as sports. I hope that by focusing on sports, your series will motivate our sports-loving population to demand action--from police, politicians and community leaders.
