From Reuters
EAST BERLIN —
A second East German has died from AIDS, a medical source reported over the weekend.
The source said Friday that the man, a homosexual in his late 30s, died last month in East Berlin’s Charite hospital, which is playing a leading role in research into the disease.
East Germany registered its first death from acquired immune deficiency syndrome in February. It said at the time 14 citizens were infected.
