A preliminary hearing was scheduled July 16 in Grand Rapids, Mich., for linebacker Ray Bentley of the Buffalo Bills on charges of negligent homicide in a June 21 car accident that killed a women.
Bentley, who was treated for minor injuries and released after the crash, was arraigned this week before District Judge Joseph B. White and released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond. Police said Bentley ran a stop sign.
