Former Councilman Robert M. Wilkinson Named to Fair Board
Former Los Angeles City Councilman Robert M. Wilkinson of Northridge was appointed Wednesday by Gov. George Deukmejian to the board of directors of the 51st District Agricultural Assn., operator of the San Fernando Valley Fair.
Wilkinson, 66, replaces Sandra L. Glazer of Granada Hills, who resigned from the board. Wilkinson’s term expires Jan. 15, 1989.
A Los Angeles city councilman from 1967 to 1979 and from 1953 to 57, Wilkinson has been president of Robert M. Wilkinson & Associates, a Northridge consulting firm, since 1979. He is as registered as a lobbyist at Los Angeles City Hall.
