The gates of the Orange County Fair open today at 5 p.m. and admission prices for the day will be half the normal rate, with adults paying $2, children 6 through 12 paying $1 and those 5 and under admitted free. For another look at the 1987 County Fair, see Page 4. And a story in the Business section says that firms are increasingly more eager to sponsor various fair events because of the good will and promotion benefits.
