Irvine : Inquiry Continuing Into Shooting Death
An investigation is continuing into the shooting death of a man whose body was found last Friday in the parking lot of an Irvine shopping center.
Police said the man, identified Sunday as Alfredo Marin, 25, also used a second name: Rosalino Moran Marino. Police are not sure which is correct.
The man, described as a transient, was found wounded Friday in the Northwood Shopping Center at 10:30 p.m. He died the next morning at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana.
Police suspect the man may have been an illegal alien.
