Anaheim : Man Fatally Injured as Motor Scooter Hits Car
A 63-year-old man was fatally injured when his motor scooter crashed into the rear of a car that had slowed for a traffic signal, police said Tuesday.
Morris Benjamin Feigenbaum of Anaheim died Monday night following surgery at UCI Medical Center in Orange, Anaheim Police Sgt. Ron Girk said.
According to investigators, Feigenbaum was traveling west on Ball Road in Anaheim when he crashed into the rear end of a Honda Civic near the West Street intersection at about 5:30 p.m. The driver of the car, identified as Penelope Davis, 23, of Rowland Heights, was unhurt, police said.
Feigenbaum was taken by ambulance to the hospital; he was pronounced dead at 9:31 p.m., police said.
