The McGuire Sisters took their act to downtown Las Vegas’ Glitter Gulch last week, stopping traffic as they filmed a commercial touting the city as the entertainment capital of the U.S.A. The sisters--Phyllis, Christine and Dorothy donated their services for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority commercial--almost. They were paid $1 each and lost it all in a nearby casino while waiting for filming to begin. The sisters reunited their act two years ago, performing around the country.
