Show Dancer, ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye, burst for the lead at the far turn and won by two lengths Monday in the $40,000 feature race at Del Mar.

Early pacesetter Just In Case, ridden by Rafael Meza, finished second by a neck in front of Grand Exchange, with Patrick Valenzuela aboard, in a field of eight.

Show Dancer covered one mile over a fast track in 1:35 4-5 and earned $22,000 for the victory in the race for 3-year-olds and up.

Show Dancer, the 5-year-old Florida-bred son of Sovereign Dancer, drew away at the three-quarter turn and paid $12.80, $7.20 and $4.60. Just in Case returned $12.20 and $8.20, and Grand Exchange paid $9.20 to show.
