Oil Wells in the Palisades
It is obvious Robertson, 1. does not live in the Palisades; 2. lives in the Palisades but is motivated by greed; 3. has no sense of aesthetics, or 4. has been unduly influenced by Occidental Petroleum.
I have two questions for him: Since this is to be “exploratory,” how do we know that there is enough oil for the tax revenues so eagerly pronounced?
If this is a government of the people, by the people and for the people, why do Palisadians have to have this in their backyard if they do not want it? It smacks of taxation without representation!
I have a better idea. Let’s drill for oil in (Oxy Chairman) Hammer’s backyard!
