Habitual Drunk Driver Gets 4-Year Jail Term
A Canoga Park man convicted of three drunk-driving violations and other traffic offenses has been sentenced to four years in County Jail.
Prosecutors said Jeffrey Johnson, 24, was sentenced in Municipal Court Tuesday after pleading no contest in the three drunk-driving cases, as well as to one count each of hit-and-run driving and driving with a suspended license.
Johnson was also found to be in violation of probation imposed after three previous drunk-driving convictions. He had been placed on 36 months’ unsupervised probation for each of those convictions.
