Solana Beach
About 200 gallons of raw sewage spilled into Solana Beach Cove when a sewer line became clogged Friday, the county Health Services Department reported.
The spill, which occurred at 111 South Sierra Ave. about 5:15 p.m., was contained 30 minutes later, department spokesman Tom Gallagher said.
Warning signs posted on the beach were expected to be removed this morning. No damage was reported.
