2 Lotto Players Win $2.3-Million Prizes
Two winning tickets were sold in last week’s Lotto 6/49 game, each of them worth $2.3 million, California Lottery officials said Sunday.
One of the six-of-six tickets was purchased at a liquor store in Gardena and the other at a gas station in Vallejo. The winners’ names will not be known until they turn in their tickets.
In the five-of-six plus bonus number category, 16 players each won $78,471; in the five-of-six category, there were 237 winning tickets worth $2,729 apiece; and in the four-of-six category 13,807 tickets were worth $42 apiece.
