Lyricist-singer Sammy Cahn has canceled the last four weeks of his one-man show in London because of illness and returned to Los Angeles to recuperate at his home, officials said Tuesday. Cahn, 74, who wrote some of Frank Sinatra’s biggest hits, has a viral infection and decided to cancel after being admitted to a London hospital on Aug. 15, according to a spokeswoman for the Duke of York Theatre. He was released Aug. 20. His show, “Sammy Cahn: Words and Music,” opened in London in mid-July.
