Norwalk : City Employees’ Picnic
The City Council has decided to treat city employees to a $3,000 picnic next month.
“They wanted to show their appreciation for the hard work the staff does,” said Community Affairs Officer Gary Brackle.
Council members Monday agreed to set aside money for the Sept. 26 gathering in Norwalk Park, open to the city’s 325 full- and part-time employees, their families, and members of city commissions. The fare will be hamburgers, hot dogs and other refreshments.
