Ken Kaess has been named vice president for program development at Marvel Productions in Van Nuys. Previously Kaess worked for DDB Needham, an advertising agency in Los Angeles. Marvel is owned by New World Entertainment and produces animated children’s programming such as “Jim Henson’s Muppet Babies.”
