Cypress : Three Named Directors of College Funding Arm
Three Orange County business executives have been named to the board of directors of the Cypress College Foundation, the community college’s private, fund-raising arm.
The three new board members are Stan Oftelie, executive director of the Orange County Transportation Commission (OCTC); Margie Field, owner and president of Hilgenfeld Mortuary, and Cliff Ronnenberg, owner and president of American Environmental Management Corp.
Oftelie is a graduate of Cypress College who joined OCTC in 1983, after eight years as an executive assistant to former Orange County Supervisor Ralph Clark.
Field is past president of the Orange County Funeral Directors Assn. and is a member of the board of directors of the California Funeral Directors Assn.
Ronnenberg owns and operates environmental and waste disposal firms in five states. In Stanton, he has been active with the Stanton Chamber of Commerce, the Boys and Girls clubs, and the League of United Latin American Citizens.
