Navratilova Heads Eight-Woman Field at Tennis Challenge in San Clemente
The second $75,000 Audi Tennis Challenge will be played at the Rancho San Clemente Tennis and Fitness Club, Sept. 24-27.
The eight-woman draw is headed by Martina Navratilova. Pam Shriver, Zina Garrison, Stephanie Rehe, Kathy Rinaldi, Barbara Potter, Wendy Turnbull and Liz Smylie are the other entries in the exhibition tournament.
Navratilova will team up with longtime partner Shriver for doubles. The other doubles teams will be Turnbull and Smylie, Rehe and Rinaldi, and Potter and Garrison.
In addition to prize money, the winner of the singles will receive a 1988 Audi.
