Actor Broderick Charged in Traffic Death in N. Ireland
Actor Matthew Broderick was charged Monday night with causing death by reckless driving stemming from an automobile accident that killed two people.
Broderick, 25, was traveling with his girlfriend, Jennifer Grey, when his car collided on Aug. 5 with a vehicle carrying two women about 80 miles southwest of Belfast near Enniskillen in County Fermanagh.
The actor, walking on crutches, was charged with causing the death of Anne Gallagher, 28. It was not clear why the charge did not mention the second woman killed.
Grey, 23, was treated at a hospital for shock and released.
