SPOKANE, Wash —
Nevada Reno kicker Marty Zendejas, from Don Lugo High School in Chino, set an NCAA Division I-AA career scoring record in the Wolf Pack’s 40-26 win over Eastern Washington Saturday.
Zendejas, younger brother of Houston Oilers kicker Tony Zendejas and a cousin of NFL kickers Max and Luis Zendejas, kicked two field goals and two extra points to raise his total to 313 points, five more than the record set by Paul Lewis of Boston University in 1981-84.
