Fullerton : Hit-and-Run Victim Suffers a Broken Leg
A 47-year-old man suffered a fractured leg in an early morning hit-and-run accident Sunday in Fullerton, authorities said.
Francisco Moreno, whose address was not known, was walking across Harbor Boulevard near Valencia Drive about 2 a.m. Sunday, when he was hit by a small, black car traveling south on Harbor, Police Lt. Dennis Bryerton said.
The driver of the car then turned off the headlights and fled, Bryerton said. Moreno was in stable condition Sunday evening at UCI Medical Center in Orange, a hospital spokeswoman said.
