Mission Lutheran Church, 24360 Yosemite Road, Laguna Niguel, will celebrate its 10th anniversary beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday. The celebration will include the dedication of a new educational preschool and a Sunday school rally. The Rev. Ray Farness, founding pastor of Mission Lutheran, will bring a message of celebration. Also speaking will be the Rev. Robert Miller, bishop of the Pacifica Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Seacrest Community Church of Costa Mesa will celebrate its grand opening Sunday, offering an alternative to traditional religious services.

According to Pastor Scott M. Meineke, Seacrest will incorporate innovative live drama, contemporary music, multi-media and practical messages that relate to everyday life for those who want to get a “lift” on Sunday.
