A 2-year-old Ohio girl died after she was mauled by two dogs that broke loose from a neighbor’s yard, authorities said. Officials said Shannon Tucker, of Columbus, died about an hour after the attack from injuries suffered when she was mauled by a pit bull terrier and a Rottweiler. The owner of the two dogs has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. Residents in the apartment complex where the dogs and their owner, Kenneth I. Ferguson, live had circulated a petition trying to force Ferguson to leave the area after the two dogs attacked Shannon’s cat two weeks ago. The cat was put to sleep after the attack.
