Adams’ Goal Helps Canucks Tie Kings

Greg Adams scored on a scramble in front of the net with 1:01 remaining in the third period Thursday night to help the Vancouver Canucks play the Kings to a 3-3 overtime tie in an exhibition hockey game before 4,936 fans at the Tucson Community Center in Tucson.

The Kings’ Brian Wilks scored his first of two goals at 7:08 of the second period to tie the score, 2-2. His second goal at 13:41 of the third period gave the Kings a brief 3-2 lead.

The Kings are 3-3-1 in exhibition play, 1-3-1 against Vancouver. The Canucks are 3-4-1.
