It is hardly surprising that the producers and director of “Mistress,” as well as CBS brass, would have misgivings about giving this “star” Victoria Principal a leading dramatic role (“The Matter of Principal,” by Paul Rosenfield, Sept. 27).
The rest of us have known for quite some time she can’t act her way out of a paper bag.
Let’s face it. Who really cares whether an exer-cycling, Jhirmack jiggle queen gets the part?
