Beverly Hills : 12 Scholarship Semifinalists
Twelve Beverly Hills High School seniors are semifinalists in the 1988 Merit Scholarship Competition.
“The achievement of these students is particularly impressive when we realize that more than 1 million students in 19,000 secondary schools throughout the country took the qualifying test,” which was held last October, high school principal Sol Levine said.
To be eligible for National Merit Scholarships of $2,000 or more, the semifinalist must be recommended by their high school principal and must have high scores on the Scholastic Aptitude Tests.
The semifinalists are Lauren N. Antonoff, Eric Brenner, Kristin Cagan, Michael Dorff, Margery Jacobs, Eric Kinder, Lara Letteau, Dana Loo, Paul Solomon, Luxman Sunder, Saghi Zilka and David Zimmerman.
