NO TRESPASSING

We figured Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment to be just about the sweetest and happiest place in Holly wood. But things weren’t all gooey when a camera crew from Group W’s syndicated “Entertainment Report” tried to shoot the exterior of his fortress on Universal’s lot.

A source tells us the “ER” crew--at Universal for a segment on the syndie sitcom “Bustin’ Loose”--ran afoul of Amblin security forces when it turned cameras on his Spanish-style building.

That’s a no-no, according to an Amblin rep: “It’s a basic lot policy at any lot that you can’t just set up your cameras.”

He added that Spiel-burg has been featured in Architectural Digest and that Time got permission to shoot on the premises for a Spielberg cover story.

How times change: Spielberg, you’ll remember, got his start by sneaking onto the Universal lot, roaming freely and using offices that weren’t his.
