Tandy Corp.’s net income rose 47% to $64.2 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, compared to the year-ago period. The Fort Worth, Tex.-based consumer electronics firm said consolidated sales and operating revenue for the first quarter of its 1988 fiscal year increased 13% to $838.2 million.
