Festival Canceled

Predictions of rain caused Pierce College officials Friday to cancel the 12th annual campus Harvest Festival scheduled today and Sunday.
Plans to reschedule the event, which includes sheep-shearing demonstrations and milk-drinking and “cow-pie” throwing contests, are indefinite, said a spokeswoman for the Woodland Hills school.
