Get ready for the medical version of “People’s Court,” coming to you courtesy of former CBS News president Van Gordon Sauter and MGM/UA Television. It’s “The Doctor’s Office,” a daily half-hour syndicated show featuring “three real family doctors dealing with real medical situations,” according to an announcement. Sauter’s co-producer, Michael Piller, said that the doctors will conduct their practice on the tube. No prognosis on what station plans to carry it locally.
