Confetti Blizzard in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS — Thousands of pounds of confetti streamed from skyscrapers this afternoon and frenzied fans hanging from street signs and scaffoldings shook their Homer Hankies, cheering the Minnesota Twins in their World Series victory parade. Twins owner Carl Pohlad rode past screaming fans in the first car, followed by rookie Manager Tom Kelly and then the beaming, waving players and their wives.
