Former football pro Greg Roberts and the wives of two ex-teammates were arrested on charges of running a cocaine trafficking ring, and police said they found guns and even a bomb in his home in Tampa, Fla.
Roberts, winner of the Outland Trophy at the University of Oklahoma in 1978, faces a maximum penalty of 146 years in prison if convicted on all eight charges, including racketeering and three counts of conspiracy to peddle cocaine.
