More stringent medical tests for top 10...

More stringent medical tests for top 10 boxers worldwide were announced by the World Boxing Council at its annual convention in London.

Dr. Adrian Whiteson of Britain, co-chairman of the WBC Medical Commission, said that all champions and world title contenders would have to undergo even more exhaustive medical examinations than at present.

No boxer will be admitted to the top 10 without satisfying the new conditions, Whiteson said. All records will be computerized and immediately available.
