Baseball Commissioner Peter Ueberroth said that instant-replay cameras will not be used on controversial calls as long as he is commissioner.

National League umpire Lee Weyer has admitted that he missed a call in the seventh game of the World Series and said he would be in favor of instant replays in certain situations.

Ueberroth said the umpires called “six perfect games” in the World Series and “one game where they missed some calls.”
