El Toro : Teacher Pleads Innocent to Molestation Charges
Robert John Webber, 44, a mathematics teacher at El Toro High School, pleaded not guilty Friday to charges that he sexually molested a 16-year-old student.
Sheriff’s Department investigators were called after a teacher allegedly overheard the girl talking to a friend about a sexual relationship with Webber, according to court documents. The acts allegedly occurred Aug. 19 and Sept. 23 in Webber’s classroom when he and the girl were alone.
Webber, who has taught at El Toro High for 13 years, faces two felony counts of sexual molestation and one felony count of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
His preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 4 at South County Municipal Court.
