OSLO —
A man carried a bomb into police headquarters in the Norwegian capital Saturday, setting off an explosion that killed himself and slightly injured six other people, authorities said.
The man arrived at the downtown building in a taxi, asked the driver to wait outside, walked into the reception area and did not talk to anyone before the device exploded, police said.
They said neither the man’s identity nor his motives were known. There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the mid-afternoon blast.
